Our last production - A Modern Merrie England by Kevan Fawkes - February 3 2010
Peel a couple of down-and-outs, add the zest of teenage banality, stir in a twist of middle class superciliousness, dust with a sprinkling of social commentary and leave to stew until the pathos and humour coalesce to bring a smile to your face or a tear to your eye in this edgy slice-of-life drama.
The play, written and produced by LADS member Kevan Fawkes, was premiered at The Georgian Theatre, Richmond, on Wednesday 3 February
as part of the Richmond One-Act Drama Festival. Three members of LADS were nominated for awards; Moira Mason for best supporting actress for her part as an amusingly irate motorist and Kevan Fawkes and Colin Tindill for best actor in their starring roles as the vagrants.
Past productions - Funny Money - October 22, 23 and 24 2009
An hilarious farce by Ray Cooney. The cast is pictured above with producer Carrol Thomas (right).

When he eventually arrives, Jean finds him not quite the man he used to be.
